Dialogue Transcript
Speaker 1:
So, what kind of music are you into?
Speaker 2:
Mostly folk, to be honest. I've loved it since I was a teenager.
Speaker 1:
Folk? That's not what I expected! How did you get into it?
Speaker 2:
My dad used to play old records every Sunday morning, and I suppose it just stuck.
Speaker 1:
That's lovely. Do you play an instrument yourself?
Speaker 2:
I play the guitar, although not very well. I'm still learning a few tricky chords.
Speaker 1:
I'd love to hear you play sometime. Do you ever perform?
Speaker 2:
Only at a pub near my flat on open mic nights. It's terrifying, but great fun.
Speaker 1:
I really admire that. I can't even sing in the shower without feeling shy.
Speaker 2:
You should come along next week. The crowd is really friendly, I promise.
